Thornleigh house is close to all amenities and has the great benefit of being within walking distance of shops, restaurants, wine bars but with the option of great walks both from the doorstep and a short drive away.
Great cycle routes are also available including the recently opened up Monsal trail railway tunnels.
Matlock bath is famous for its gathering of Harley Davidsons on Sundays, the Matlock Bath illuminations and the cable cars which take you to the Heights of Abraham.
Matlock is a small town at the gateway to the Peak District. Matlock is close to Chatsworth house, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Buxton, Carsington water and the many other attractions of the Peak District.
Matlock has a large Edwardian park with band stand, public tennis courts, skate-park, childrens playground with water features and a miniature railway and boating lake.
